We will not serve anyone under the age of 19 or who is already intoxicated
The Auk’s Lodge is subject to all rules and regulations of the liquor licence act of Ontario.
The only acceptable I.D. is a:
Any member of the Auk’s Lodge staff may request customers to produce their I.D. for an age of majority check after 9 p.m. Customers who refuse or cannot produce I.D. will be asked to leave the Auk’s Lodge. With exceptions to external events (i.e. weddings, banquets, etc.)
All patrons must produce identification upon request at any time.
Alcohol will be served according to the AGCO conditions.
Guests will be limited according to size of facility housing the function.
All patrons must pay prevailing cover charge.
Wrist tickets and or A hand stamps will be issued and physically put on the customer by security ON THE RIGHT HAND. (During hand stamp / wrist ticket events).
On hand stamp / wrist ticket events, there is no alcohol service without a hand stamp / wrist ticket.
Anyone passing alcohol to anyone under the age of 19 will be ejected. Passing alcohol to a minor will be considered a serious incident and may lead to banning in the Auk’s Lodge.
Anyone who wishes to act as a designated driver will identify themselves to the pub staff and will not be served alcohol beverages. Pop will be available free of charge to designated drivers
Designated Drivers must identify themselves to bar staff before ordering or must pay for the pop or juice.
Staff who observe guest driving erratically, or are thought to be drinking and driving will record the make, model, color and license plate of the vehicle and immediately report it to the local police. Security must then record the information and date in the logbook.
Staff must quickly identify intoxicated patrons and ask them to leave. Any member of the Auk’s lodge staff may cut off a customer.
Staff must watch for patrons who have been drinking before arriving at the Auk’s Lodge.
Staff reserves the right to deny entrance to any undesirable person.
Staff reserves the right to search coats and backpacks. The customer must voluntarily agree to the search, if not admittance may be denied.
Backpacks are not permitted in the Auk’s Lodge during pub events.
It is illegal to bring alcohol into the facility
No one who appears to be intoxicated or under the influence of narcotics may be admitted.
Shoes and shirts and all other clothing must be worn at all times.
No smoking in the Auk’s Lodge. There is an outdoor smoking patio provided. Individuals caught smoking will be told it is not permitted in the Auk’s Lodge (first offense). If they are caught again, they will be asked to leave the Auk’s Lodge.
During pub events, customers must have their hand stamped by staff before exiting onto the smoking deck. Customers cannot re-enter the Auk’s Lodge without a hand stamp.
No alcohol beverages to be allowed or consumed in the quiet lounge. Unless authorized by Auk’s Lodge management team.
The pub will be patrolled throughout the operating hours, monitoring, correcting and dismissing when necessary, persons for excessive rowdy behaviour.
Staff will regularly check the Auk’s Lodge washrooms.
In cases of vandalism, theft and violent behaviour, names will be sought and recorded in the Auks’ Lodge logbook. These events will not be tolerated and will result in permanent banning from the Auk’s Lodge.
If there is an incident of Sexual Assault the police are to be called immediately. The incident must be recorded immediately in the Auk’s Lodge logbook.
“LAST CALL” on a regular pub night will be at 1:00am – 1:15am with all drinks purchases to be finished and cleared away before 2:00am.
At “LAST CALL” the limit of drinks purchased by one patron is not to exceed one unless buying for another patron that is at the bar with them and no pitchers will be sold.
In order to work in the Auk’s Lodge you must be a member of the Student Association. You must also maintain a grade average of 60%.READING WEEK
